The more I learn about the body and mind, the more I stray from what looks like a “traditional” yoga class. Through a multi-disciplinary approach, the classes I teach incorporate body wisdom and mindFULLness.
I spent years “tapping out” while moving my body in classes- a distraction from the rest of the world. While it served it’s purpose at the time, it lead to much more mindlessness than mindfulness. My classes incorporate down-regulation of the nervous system through release end breath, somatic experiences, and brain rewiring, all pieced together by an aspect of PLAY. It all leads to mindFULLness. And best yet- no screens allowed.
Where movement and breath offer a vehicle for transformation, it all leads us to one final destination: crafting a life we want to live. Through workshops; series, and special events, I teach creative action and intentional living through a variety of methods that lead you to your own purpose. Whether you want to hike mountains or start a new venture, these events radically shift your mindset.
